It has been eagerly awaited, and after only nine months of construction, the multi-storey car park at STRELAPARK has been completed on schedule.
CITTI Handelsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG invested €20 million in the project. The ground-breaking ceremony took place on 6 February 2023 and was carried out by the general contractor Goldbeck from its branch in Rostock. In addition to the company Gebrüder Karsten from Waren, which is responsible for the outdoor facilities, a total of almost 40 other companies, mainly from the region, were involved in this project.
Over 1,360 new parking spaces are now available free of charge to STRELAPARK customers. Before the new car park was built, only 500 vehicles could be parked in the same area. The car park is completely barrier-free, with parking spaces spread over four floors with two lifts, and offers regular parking spaces as well as spaces for people with disabilities.
The car park is lit using modern LED technology. The modern parking guidance system makes it easier for customers to spot a free parking space from a distance.
In future, a further twelve parking spaces with electric charging points, including six fast-charging parking spaces in front of the car park, will be available.
